This past week:
Awwdrey has been saved only to repeat the same line over, "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope". Oops I mean, "Help me Jack. Don't let them do this to me." Meanwhile, with Awwdrey safe, Cheng escapes in 3 black hummers, Jack gets taken into custody by Ricky.
Jack and Awwdrey are taken back to CTU where they are going to medically interrogate Awwdrey. Jack somehow talks Ricky (I cannot seem to call him by his TV character's name, "Doyle") into letting him put him into a sleeper hold ("Jack, make it real.") so Jack can perform the great non-escape to get information from Awwdrey. Which he did successfully while under pressure from the door cutting team.
Bill has been canned by his wife; Morris has told Chloe that it is completely over after her rude comment regarding his helping blow up innocent people. Chloe was last seen sobbing in the server room after Morris rightfully dumped her.
Nadia has taken over CTU in the unlikely event of her predecessor being able to appoint his successor. Nadia has shown some initiative. Morris asked Nadia for a transfer, and she said no. Maybe tomorrow would be a better day to ask for petty HR items, I don't know. That is just me.
Blonde Toady is doing the evil veep and is the leak of information from the bunker. She is also doing the TEYOBF (twenty eight year old boyfriend) who is working for the Russians. He has nefariously downloaded something from her cell phone when she was taking her "after whoopee shower."
Tom Lennox tells on the Blonde Toady and the TEYOBF to the evil Veep and the evil veep is deeply hurt by the Blonde Toady.
Awwdrey's dad, James Heller, forbids Jack from ever seeing Awwdrey again. He tells Jack that he is cursed and everyone he touches ends up dead. But we at The 24 Blog believe that Awwdrey knew this and she is a grown woman. ("A" notes: some women just seem to have a talent for picking the wrong men!)
Predictions by us and the friends of the 24 blog:
- Awwdrey has been brainwashed and is going to end up going all Manchurian Candidate on Jack's @$$
- Ricky and Nadia are going to smashface in the server room. Okay, not exactly what was said, but there are going to be some steamy glances.
- With Chloe and Bill missing. We HOPE against hope that they are going to go all rogue and get Jack out so he can save the world from the Russian/Chinese evil subplot.
- The Evil Veep is going to off the Blonde Toady
- Jack and Awwdrey will see each other again, but Marilyn will drop the bomb about the Spawn of Bauer.
- They are going to stop at Walgreens or CVS to get some hair gel. ("A" says, hope they have a coupon and that Jack didn't leave home without his American Express card...I don't know when he would have had time to stop at an ATM!)
