OH no.. it was what's-her-name's phone that was in danger. You know, if you put your wet cell with the battery taken out in a baggie with rice, it may dry out and be operable again. This worked for me on a bluetooth ear piece for me. It wasn't quite the same again but....

I'll bet the little silica packets would work, too. I can't remember why I got some of these recently, but thought maybe I should save them
(Unsafe to have around kids, though...maybe households that bear arms could lock the packets in the gun cabinet, for future uses.)
