Kiefer's Dad: Was He In Chinese Prison, Too?

Apparently not, but he did star what must have been a straight-to-video film called Land of the Blind.

I saw the trailer on a DVD the other day. Donald Sutherland was released from prison; he looked quite like Jack did after his release from Chinese prison!

This is Donald after he cleaned up. For the full effect, check the trailer.

Hey Girlfriends,

I just found your blog! It's awesome. I have a blog too you may be interested in: http://itsallgoodlpk.blogspot.com/

I'm 43 years old, in the midst of what is probably a mid-life crisis, and find myself hopelessly, and unexplainably infatuated with Kiefer Sutherland (and 24!).

I was glad to find out about movie with Donald Sutherland. Will need to see this. Thanks again. I will check back often. lpk

Thanks LPK! "M" and I can't understand our own obsession with 24 (and "M"'s crush on Kiefer...I prefer the dark swarthy TV terrorist types, myself). "M" tried to stop watching back in season 4 or so, but sucked back in.

Thanks for your link, we'll check you out. Be well.

Hey M and A,

Tonight is 24!!!!!!!!! (sorry, I'm back).

I already purchased a $5 copy of Land of the Blind and it should be on it's way here. Will let you know how it is. Just couldn't pass up seeing "Papa Jack" play terrorist/agent get realeased from Chinese Prison!

Do you ladies also like Eddie Izzard? I found myself infatuated with him about a year and a half ago. Eddie started off this craziness in my head. My obsession trailed off him and onto Kiefer (who looks very much like Eddie - minus the "frocks"). This better suited me. Anyhow, as of now, these two have been my only obsession(s). The point of all this is Eddie Izzard's new TV pilot tonight, The Riches. I'm sure you've heard about it. It looks interesting, and I'll definitely be watching after My Man Jack is done. 24 is really the only tv I watch (love movies). Therefore, excited that there may be something else I'll enjoy watching.

I'm sure there are other things on tv I would like, but I'm holding back, as obsessing/watching 24/Kiefer really seems to be a full-time job, and not one that I can afford to do all day! Cheers! Keep the Faith Ladies! LPK

"L", thanks for your note! I don't think that either "M" or I are big Eddie fans...I don't have cable, so when I see cable shows it is usually later on via Netflix (which is why I don't know what happened to Farik on Sleeper Cell). For some reason, watching TV this way seems to take less time. (And I've only done this with a few shows...)

Thankfully, Jack's on network! Otherwise I'd have to get cable.

Be well

Land of the Blind, after screening at festivals like Tribeca, was actually given a limited theatrical release.

Wow, I had forgotten all about Keifer's dad. That's a great observation.
