Apparently not, but he did star what must have been a straight-to-video film called Land of the Blind.
I saw the trailer on a DVD the other day. Donald Sutherland was released from prison; he looked quite like Jack did after his release from Chinese prison!
This is Donald after he cleaned up. For the full effect, check the trailer.

Patriot Act Abuses: Good News/Bad News
The bad news is: tens of thousands of people have been subject to a provision of the Patriot Act which in effect allows the government warrant-less access to records of people's activities. Email activity, phone records, bank records. Maybe even medical records.
(By the way, I can't even get my physician to give me information about my own medical records from my visit over 3 weeks ago. She's so busy, she can't call me back. Maybe I should call the FBI for the results of my pap smear. But I digress.)
Read about Patriot Act Abuses in the NY Times. It's harder to find on Fox News. It is there, if you can get past the story about the Beltway Madam. (Whoever she is.)
Good news? the FBI is apologizing. If there had even been one terrorist act prevented by this astounding abuse of power, they might be crowing about it.
Of course, Bill Buchanan and Jack Bauer might tell the casual consumer of NPR, the NY Times and other agents of the liberal left about how they heroically saved the country (again), trailing shreds of of our Constitution in their wake.
But then they'd have to kill us!
