Previously on 24 from 10 - 11 PM Eeww index continues!
Gosh it really is the longest day ever! A special thanks for LPK and KeifersKate for joining us live and blogging with us last week. "A" and I had a lot of fun with all your comments!
Last on 24 we saw weaselly Tom trying to convince thetestosterone adrenaline junkie president to stop trying to blow up some country in the Middle East. I still don't believe that we know the name of the country, we are going to call it Fayed's Country (FC). At any rate, the TEYOP (for those just joining - the Twenty Eight Year Old President) is exhibiting many signs that he should have had the 25th amendment brought down on his rear. The ambassador of FC "implores" him to call off the nuke that the TEYOP has sent hurtling through the atmosphere to FC. The ambassador agrees to get General Habib to talk to Fayed. They have been working together without the permission of FCs administration. The bomb crashes to the ocean and they don't recover it because it was a bluff. Is the TEYOP crazy? Yes, crazy like a fox (hahaha, the show is on FOX, I'm cracking myself up already!)
Meanwhile Jack beats up Fayed and starts looking for his manpurse with the medi-interrogation accessories to get more information. They move Fayed and they get AMBUSHED. Oh NO! Jack and Ricky, I mean Doyle, are both shot! The sleeper cell picks up Fayed and they take him away. After the bad guys are away, Jack pops up like Dracula from the dead. The sleeper cell is a plant to get Fayed to lead CTU to the suit nukes. Brilliant! Nadia after Doyle is shot asks if he need medical assistance. This gets Nadia an evil glare from Milo. After all they are going steady now since he forcibly kissed her in the hallway during a nucular crisis! We all agree that Milo needs to grow up and not act like a kid in high school!
The General and Fayed speak, but later they realize that there was a distress code in their conversation. Fayed kills the sleeper cell and Jack goes into the tunnel and sees Fayed hijack the garbage truck. Jack slips under the truck and holds on to the undercarriage and tries to talk to CTU. Comms go down and this elicits a dammit from Jack.
Back at the bunker, "W" isn't doing too well. He sees the doctor and the doctor won't give him another shot of adenline. Near the end of the show, he collapses and says to Tom "No one can know!!!"
Jack gets to the destination where all the terrorists are and he disables them all almost single handedly and goes all Jacula on their @$$es by biting off one of the terrorists' thumb. Doyle shows up during the fight to the death between fayed and Jack. Jack wins with some help of other movie scenes! After he saves the world from more suit nukes, he gets a phone call!!! Note to self, after saving the world, having floating rib fragments, internal bleeding, being shot at point blank range with a vest on, hanging on to the undercarriage of the garbage truck and fighting another man to the death, I'm not going to answer my bleeping phone!
He answers it and it's AWWDREY!!! She's alive and being held by the evil Chinese. Jack never had the chance to see the woman in the photo was an outie instead of an innie! The Evil Chinese guy demands that Jack call him back from a secure line if he ever wants to see here alive again!
And we thought Jack was going to catch a break. This leaves us wondering:
Where is Marilyn? Is he going to say goodbye, I'm going to get Audrey? What about Spawn of Bauer? Where is Jack's Dad? When are they going to tell us that Karen is Jack's mom?!?!

aarrrggh 25th Amendment!
Give the TEYOP a shot a adrenaline to raise his blood pressure. Not to mention let's bring him out of a coma that he was only in for a few hours because of SERIOUS brain swelling. I just can't see how this is a good idea for Prinipal Wood, I mean the Prez.
I wonder how Jack's internal bleeding is going? Maybe it's just ecchymosis for both of them!

Previously on 24
Even though a perimeter has been set up, it appears that George Philip has escaped, hopefully to find some hair gel. Jack hopes on a chopper after a brief debriefing to Bill of the family drama. Jack continues to hit on his widowed sister-in-law. Jack promises Josh to explain everything. I wonder if that explanation will include why he and Rena keep exchanging smoldery glances.
We aren't (or "M" isn't) sure who the main evil mastermind is, but this is becoming similar to the canisters from last year. The nukes are going to have a payload and somehow I don't think it's going to be confetti for a special welcome home for Jack returning from Chinese Prison.
Chloe keeps covering for Morris. He keeps disappearing and not being able to complete his work competently. However he was able to competently configure a program that armed a nuke. Although I believe that he wasn't responsible for the first nuke, is that right "A"? Chloe thinks that he has fallen off the wagon and end up barging in on him in the toilet, where Morris gets up off the toity without wiping, but then again sitting there with his pants down might have been a ruse for drinking. Was he lying about calling his sponsor or wasn't he? He then pours 1/4 of the fifth of booze (what does that make, 1/20th? so he drank 19/20th? or are my fractions bad. Again, I digress)
Reed gets an assassin in to the bunker. The Bad Guy mixes a potion from two rogue office supplies. You have to watch out for those highlighters; they are dangerous! Bad Guy says that they should kill Tom. Reed keeps on say no, he will come around after W is no longer in charge. Again with the 25th Amendment. Reed tenderly removes the duct tape from Tom's mouth and says not to scream or else the OTHER guy will kill him. I think that Reed has some romantic feelings toward Tom, not that there is anything wrong with that. Tom says that he was always against Reed, I actually think that Tom is lying and he truly thought about it. Assad foils the bomb killing the president because the Bad Guy builds a faulty bomb and it starts leaking. Assad sees the leak and yells BOMB and BOOM. Good thing Karen left to get blowed up with Bill instead of getting blowed up with "W"
Jack meets with the ex Prez Logan at what looks to be the race track. Ex-Prez Logan has turned over a new leaf and has gotten a pardon or something in exchange for helping to find Gradenko through "back channels." Meanwhile, Jack has found a clean and dashing suit (they must have gotten that from his storage space since he has been out of the country for TWO YEARS). I still think that Jack is handsome.
