OK, We all Know That I Have to Eat

So I waited to log on until I was done with dinner. I also noticed: it is much easier to pay attention when I'm not blogging! (My yogic studies would agree: multi-tasking is bad, very bad.)

So we're going to see Jack's dad tonight? And James Heller is going to file a restraining order against Jack (because the courts are open at 2am...even in the wake of a nucular explosion).

And the Russians are going to bomb US because we screwed up with the Chinese? That is freaking irrational.

Sigh.

We have had a Dammit, Begging, uplinking to PDAs and a perimeter alli n the first 5 minutes. It should be a good show!

Previously on 24: 1 - 2 AM

We have learned that there are only 3 episodes left. For some of us, the blog is the only thing keeping us watching :-) Unfortunately, both "A" and "M" have had long weekends, so this is going to be short !

This past week:
Awwdrey has been saved only to repeat the same line over, "Help me, Obi-Wan Kenobi; you're my only hope". Oops I mean, "Help me Jack. Don't let them do this to me." Meanwhile, with Awwdrey safe, Cheng escapes in 3 black hummers, Jack gets taken into custody by Ricky.

Jack and Awwdrey are taken back to CTU where they are going to medically interrogate Awwdrey. Jack somehow talks Ricky (I cannot seem to call him by his TV character's name, "Doyle") into letting him put him into a sleeper hold ("Jack, make it real.") so Jack can perform the great non-escape to get information from Awwdrey. Which he did successfully while under pressure from the door cutting team.

Bill has been canned by his wife; Morris has told Chloe that it is completely over after her rude comment regarding his helping blow up innocent people. Chloe was last seen sobbing in the server room after Morris rightfully dumped her.

Nadia has taken over CTU in the unlikely event of her predecessor being able to appoint his successor. Nadia has shown some initiative. Morris asked Nadia for a transfer, and she said no. Maybe tomorrow would be a better day to ask for petty HR items, I don't know. That is just me.

Blonde Toady is doing the evil veep and is the leak of information from the bunker. She is also doing the TEYOBF (twenty eight year old boyfriend) who is working for the Russians. He has nefariously downloaded something from her cell phone when she was taking her "after whoopee shower."

Tom Lennox tells on the Blonde Toady and the TEYOBF to the evil Veep and the evil veep is deeply hurt by the Blonde Toady.

Awwdrey's dad, James Heller, forbids Jack from ever seeing Awwdrey again. He tells Jack that he is cursed and everyone he touches ends up dead. But we at The 24 Blog believe that Awwdrey knew this and she is a grown woman. ("A" notes: some women just seem to have a talent for picking the wrong men!)

Predictions by us and the friends of the 24 blog:

• Awwdrey has been brainwashed and is going to end up going all Manchurian Candidate on Jack's @$$


• Ricky and Nadia are going to smashface in the server room. Okay, not exactly what was said, but there are going to be some steamy glances.


• With Chloe and Bill missing. We HOPE against hope that they are going to go all rogue and get Jack out so he can save the world from the Russian/Chinese evil subplot.


• The Evil Veep is going to off the Blonde Toady


• Jack and Awwdrey will see each other again, but Marilyn will drop the bomb about the Spawn of Bauer.


• They are going to stop at Walgreens or CVS to get some hair gel. ("A" says, hope they have a coupon and that Jack didn't leave home without his American Express card...I don't know when he would have had time to stop at an ATM!)

The Adventures of Man Purse!

I reposted this, I'm afraid some of you may have missed this :-)
Yes before we went on our trip, the Hubby bought a man purse. But in his defense (if that is the right word), he was always a proponent of them and would have purchased it without Jack' s influence. He said to me when we were dating and when I wasn't carrying a purse that one of us has to LOL.

So here are the adventures of ManPurse. This one didn't have the medi-interogation nor the explosive accessories, but it did have the family accesories which occassionaly included diapers :-)

Getting ready for the big day at Epcot and the Magic Kingdom with a cuppa joe and the GPS.









It was ManPurse's (and ManPurse's owner) first trip to Disney so they got a special button. We had Comms in the form of the family radio. So ManPurse could contact CTU in case of hostiles as we were going through the Countries of Epcot.




ManPurse's last stop was the Magic Kingdom for a ride on It's a Small World. And Jack knows that is so true!

• Movies copied= potentially 3 (Help me Jack vs. Obi Wan you're our only hope & not-so great escape, potential for Manchurian Candidate)

• Number of Episodes left= 3 Thank goodness.
• Steamy glances= 4 (Nadia and Doyle, Awwdrey and Jack, Evil Veep and Toady, TEYOBF (28 year old boyfriend) and Toady)

• Times "A" was right= 1 (William Devane is back!)
• Jack being Ruthless on demand= 1 (sleeper hold on Ricky)

• Facial movements by Evil Veep = 0
• Whiny begging Jack= 2
• Times "P" was right= 1 (called Bill Buchanan going down in the beginning)
• Times The Hubby was right= 1 the blonde toady being the leak
• Women proven to be either stupid or evil = 1 Blonde toady. Pretty sure she is stupid -- with the exception of her having the TEYOBF, that would be smaarrt not stupid, therefore putting her in the evil category
• Blog Entries about hair gel= 0 well 1 see below
• Medical interrogations= 0 by a close margin
• Jack WOP = 1
• Number of Friends of The 24 Blog watching with us live= at least 1 -- thanks LPK & family

Where is Bill? Where is Chloe? We hope against all hope they they go Rogue to help Jack and Awwdrey escape and live happily ever after. Awwdrey will be the crazy cat lady of Montana while Jack tends the flock.

Where is Marilyn? Coming back next week to stand by her man.Where are Walid and Sandra? Where is Spawn of Bauer? Where is Phil, Jack's Dad -- maybe he went to get some hair gel! Where is Jack's Mommy? Where is Peter Hock? Where is the Hubby's Man Purse? (the hubby says within Hands reach)

I must chant: BRING BACK NINA! BRING BACK NINA! BRING BACK NINA!
